Objectives of AL – Hadeed Foundation for Economic Development

Since its establishment, AL – Hadeed Foundation for Economic Developmenthas been seeking excellence and leadership in the field of iron and steel, encouraging local production, and achieving the most important strategic goals it has set, the most important of which are:

1- Working to develop the iron and steel industry in Iraq, diversifying its products and preserving the environment.
2- Exchanging experiences and information among members and training and qualifying cadres according to advanced training programs.
3- Cooperation with governmental and non-governmental bodies to overcome the obstacles facing iron and steel factories in Iraq that limit the development of this industry or hinder its work.
4- Establishing and maintaining cooperative relations with Arab and international organizations concerned with the iron and steel industry.
5- Issuing bulletins or magazines concerned with disseminating the organization’s objectives, cultural, social and economic activities and programs in order to raise community awareness in this field.
6- Continuous awareness of achieving the goals of sustainable development and preserving the environment
